What is the Youth Inclusion and Support Panel?

The Support Panel is a FREE service that has been set up to help children aged 8-17 years of age, who may be at risk of getting into trouble or at risk of being excluded from school. The Panel’s aim is to help these children / family at an early stage so that they can stay on track in the future.

The Panel will have members from council services, voluntary sector projects and community groups and will be able to refer children and parents who ask for support onto services and activities that may be able to help.

The Panel recognises that a variety of significant events or circumstances, for example, being a victim of crime, exclusion from school, domestic violence, homelessness, marital breakdown and learning difficulties, can affect children in different ways.

  • Family Support
  • Family Counselling
  • Drama Clubs
  • Sports Activities
  • Health Advice
  • Youth Projects
  • School Holiday Activities

  • Assistance to and from activities
